Polaroid will unveil an Android tablet at the CES 2012 tech expo, leaked snaps of the company's booth reveal.
Images sourced by Engadget show a Polaroid-branded slate and what we’re reliably informed is an e-reader ready to make their debuts at the gadget beano.
According to the site, perhaps not terribly surprisingly given its provenance, the device will be marketed as a kind of tablet-cum-camera hybrid, as evidenced by the presence of front and rear snappers and flashes.
It’s also thought likely to run the up-to-the-minute Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android out of the box.
The e-reader, meanwhile, will clearly be a Amazon Kindle Fire-style full-colour number with dimensions that look to be broadly in line with the retail giant’s best-seller.
Highlights of CES 2012 at this early juncture in the showcase include an Android powered TV courtesy of Lenovo, a tablet from Toshiba touted as the world’s thinnest and, on a novelty tip, an updated Parrot AR Drone for all your radio controlled helicopter needs.
