HTC Evo 3D price slashed by £170

SIM free specialists Expansys have cut the cost of the HTC Evo 3D, offering savings of £170 from the launch price.

As part of its January sale, the retailer is now offering the handset for £329.99 – down from the original asking price of £499.99.

That outlay gets you a handset capable of capturing 3D stills, plus video recording and playback, and gaming in three dimensions – all without the need for those silly green-and-red specs.

Elsewhere, the Evo 3D packs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) out of the box with HTC’s Sense custom skin slathered over the top, plus some smart pre-installed entertainment and mapping apps, and rocks a 1.2GHz processor to keep everything running smoothly.

The package is completed by a 4.3-inch Super LCD touchscreen, a five-megapixel primary camera, a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera for video calls and AGB of internal storage.

This can be boosted by up to 32GB by adding a microSD card, so you’ll have plenty enough room for all your apps, widgets, music and whathaveyou.
