HTC Sensation XE price cut with O2 January sale

O2 has cut the cost of the music-focussed HTC Sensation XE, as part of its latest flash sale.

Under the terms of the limited period promotion, O2 is waiving the upfront free of £104.99 for all Sensation XE buyers who sign up for the handset online on a £27 per month contract before February 2nd.

Allowances on that tariff take in 300 call minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data per month.

Widely lauded for its stereo smarts and rich and full sound quality, the Sensation XE features audio technology courtesy of Beats by Dre and comes bundled with a natty pair of headphones from Hip-Hop producer Dr Dre’s company.

Also on board is the 2.3 version of Android (aka Gingerbread), an eight-megapixel, rear-mounted camera and a secondary, front-facing VGA snapper for video calls.

Rounding off the package is a 4.3-inch S-LCD touchscreen with HD video playback, plus access to the 400,000-odd apps on offer at the Android Market and plenty of customisation options.
