T-Mobile will unveil a new unlimited data tariff for top-end smartphones next week, as it bids to challenge Three as the UK network for heavy mobile web users.
Purportedly dubbed the 'Fully Monty', T-Mobile’s contract will be priced £36 per month and apes Three’s One Plan by offering unfettered web access over 3G connections.
Takers also get 2,000 anytime, any-network call minutes per month and unlimited calls to T-Mobile customers, as well as an unlimited text messages.
Better still, according to Techno Buffalo, which has an anonymous tipster to thank for the story, the monthly price is fixed irrespective of which phone customers choose.
What we don’t yet know is which handsets the plan is bundled with. But we think it’s a pretty safe bet at least one of them will be the 16GB iPhone 4S, as T-Mobile stakes out a bid for market territory that’s previously been the preserve of rival Three.
T-Mobile has announced a press call for Monday at which we’re hoping it’ll confirm further details. Rest assured as soon as we know, you will too.
