The HTC One X and One S are up for pre-order on monthly contract deals now.
Online retailer MobilePhonesDirect is taking orders for the just-unveiled Android smarties on T-Mobile and Vodafone, with the HTC One X up for grabs for free from £31 per month over a 24-month contract.
The One S is also available. If you want one free, you’re looking at minimum monthly outlay of £26, also over a two-year contract.
MobilePhonesDirect promises to deliver phones ordered now on April 5th. And in the absence of any kind of official notice from HTC or carriers, we’re guessing this is the handsets’ UK release date.
Both phones make their official debut yesterday at the Mobile World Congress tech expo in Barcelona.
Touted as HTC’s flagship for this year, the One X features a1.5GHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor, an eight-megapixel camera, 32GB of storage and a 4.7-inch Pureview touchscreen with 720p HD playback.
The One S is a more mid-range device, with a spec sheet that takes in a 4.3-inch AMOLED screen fashioned from robust Gorilla Glass and a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Both phones come with the latest Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android out the box, Beats by Dre audio technology and free 25GB Dropbox accounts for customers.
