LG looks to be readying a new Windows Phone powered smartphone as the hitherto unseen ‘Miracle’ is leaked ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC).
With Nokia dominating column inches with its Lumia range of kits, the chatter for Microsoft’s OS has somewhat died down for the likes of HTC, Samsung and LG. Well, that may be about to change soon, if leaked snaps of the Miracle are anything to go by.
Home to a 4-inch NOVA touchscreen display, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a five-megapixel camera that shoots videos in 720p HD and a built-in NFC – the Miracle has all the billings of a mid-range kit.
Whether that’s enough to put a dent in Nokia’s Windows Phone ambitions is debatable. Clearly the South Korean phone-maker is more concerned with its standing on the Android side of the fence, where Samsung is handily dominating proceedings.
LG is expected to unveil the Miracle at MWC later this month. Stay tuned for our full coverage in the run-up.
