Samsung has once again fired broadsides at the uncritical fanboy mentality of iFans, in a high-profile TV ad for the Samsung Galaxy Note.
The clip, which aired to a worldwide audience of hundreds of millions during yesterday’s Super Bowl, follows the format of previous ads for the Galaxy range by featuring Apple apostles queuing outside a store for an unspecified bit of kit.

And in keeping with those ads, it’s not long before those some of those fanboys start to question their adoration of all things Apple after being presented with Sammy's super-sized challenger. True to form, that provides a springboard for some Apple-targeted invective.
We’re quite taken with the on-point crack emanating from the hottie in the hat whose faith in the Holy House of Cupertino is so shaken by the Note that she’s not sure what she "believes in anymore”.
And we awarded extra points for the joyless guy with the centre-parting. His smug superiority means he’s unable to join in the “over the top”, Note-inspired riotous japes going around him and shuns the fun in favour of Apple’s world of minimalism and, at times, asphyxiating sense of good taste.
But we digress; watch the clip for yourself and let us know what YOU think.
