Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) for the Samsung Galaxy S2 will begin rolling out next month, self-styled analyst Eldar Murtazin has claimed.
The editor-in-chief of Russian blog Mobile Review has revealed in a Twitter post that the hotly awaited upgrade will be officially released on March 1st via Sammy’s Kies software and over the air depending on country and carrier.
News of developments comes as HTC today officially confirmed it will be bringing ICS to a number of smartphones by the end of March.
Tasty features on board the latest OS refresh include an overhauled user interface with resizable widgets, simpler menus and navigation, enhanced multitasking and updated versions of native apps.
