The HTC One X will be available on O2 early next month, the carrier has officially confirmed via Twitter.
O2 let slip the due date for the hotly awaited smartphone when responding to a customer query about tariffs for existing customers.
It said it doesn’t expect to range the handset until April 5th and has no pricing details to share at present time.
Phones 4U is currently taking preorders for the One X on contracts, offering a free handset for £36 a month on a two-year term, which gets you 300 minutes, 3000 messages and 1GB of data each month.
To sweeten the deal further, the retailer is also throwing in an HTC Media Link HD accessory for free, which is £80 when bought separately.
One X is perhaps HTC’s most impressive smartphone yet, sporting a 4.7-inch Super LCD 2 display with a native 720p resolution, a 1.5GHz dual core Tegra 3 processor, an eight-megapixel camera and 32GB of on board storage.
Also on board are the Android Ice Cream Sandwich installed out of the box, plus the latest HTC Sense UI (version 4.0) slathered on top.
Keep ‘em peeled for more One X news and announcements in the coming weeks.
