The highest-end Nokia Lumia phone so far is up for pre-order in Blighty, as Nok-Nok embarks on a refreshed tilt at the smartphone market in 2012.
Phones4U is now taking orders for the Lumia 900 in black or white on Orange, Vodafone and O2, ahead of the handset’s scheduled street date of April 27th.
Contract prices for free phone deals start at £36 per month over two years.
Billed as a beefed up version of the Lumia 800, Nokia’s new challenger teams a 4.3-inch AMOLED Clearback display (up from its predecessor’s 3.8-inch number) with a 1.4GHz Qualcomm single-core processor and an eight megapixel snapper with HD 720p video recording.
Powered by the latest 7.5 edition of the live tile-based Windows Phone operating system, the Lumia 900 is also home to 16GB of internal storage, a secondary 1.3 megapixel camera for video calls and exclusive Nokia navigation and music services.
