Amazon has appeared to let slip pricing details and specs for the Samsung Galaxy S3 ahead of the phone’s official launch on May 3rd.
The online retail giant’s German site is listing the phone for pre-order, with a price point of 599 Euros – or £490 in the Queen’s money. That ought to equate to a monthly contract price of around £35 per month when it lands on UK carriers.
Amazon also details the handset’s spec sheet. And, you’ll be pleased to know, the phone does indeed sound like the super-brawny blower that tech rumours have been hinting at for months.
Among the standout features of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich-powered kit that the site claims are on board are a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display and a 12-megapixel camera with LED flash.
Also present and correct apparently is a mighty quad-core processor to bring the phone in line with the HTC One X and LG Optimus 4X in the chipset stakes, as well as 16GB of on board storage.
