It seems there’s no plugging the leaks for Samsung’s as-yet unofficial Galaxy S3, as the hotly anticipated phone crops up on the yet another of the phone-maker’s official software.
The S3, which has quickly become Sammy’s worst kept secret, has been prematurely confirmed again, this time on the phone selection screen of the Kies PC application, which is used to synchronise and back-up Samsung handsets and tablets.
Even GT-I9300 – as has long been suspected to be the phone’s model number, is shown underneath the name. There’s a thumbnail of the handset too, but unfortunately it’s too small to discern any standout design elements.
Samsung has not officially announced the Galaxy S3. So far it has only referred to the device as “the next Galaxy”. However, it’s quite obvious now that it’s none other than the threequel everyone’s waiting for.
The South Korean giant is due to take the stage on May 3rd in London to blow the lid off the device. O2, Vodafone and Carphone Warehouse have already confirmed they will be on board for the launch.
Stay tuned as we bring you more Galaxy S3 news and announcements in the days to come.
