HTC is good at making phones. But it’s rather terrible at keeping them under wraps until it's ready to make official announcement, as details of yet another kit – the Ville C – crop up prematurely.
Billed as an ‘ultra slim PDA phone’, highlights of the Ville C include a 1.7GHz dual core processor (clocked at 1.5GHz), a 4.3-inch AMOLED qHD display and an eight-megapixel snapper that records in 1080p HD.
Also on board is 16GB of storage and a 1,650mAh battery. And it runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box with the 4.5 version of HTC’s Sense UI layered on top.
Alas, an image of the handset is as-yet unavailable. However, based on gen we have so far it appears to be a cheaper version of the One S, just as the the Desire C, which was unveiled just yesterday, is the economical alternative to the One X.
No word yet as to when the handset might go official. But we don’t expect it to be too long, considering how quickly the Desire C was revealed.
