Phones 4U will be throwing in a free memory card and an official flip case for the soon-to-land Samsung Galaxy S3, in a bid to pinch punters away from rival vendors.
With less than two weeks to go before the handset’s highly anticipated release, the retailer is bundling an official Samsung flip case and a 32GB microSD card with the S3 for no extra charge. The SD card brings the total storage capacity of the phone up to a whopping 48GB.
Contract options for the Galaxy S3 are available on all the major networks. The phone comes in two colour variants: pebble blue and marble white, with a 32GB edition set to be exclusive to Vodafone for the first month of release.
Arguably the year’s hottest Android smartphone, the S3 is packed to the brim with cutting-edge features, not least of which are a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, an eight-megapixel support and Near Field Communications (NFC) technology.
But what sets it apart from rival Android kits is the software, such as S Voice – an Apple Siri-style voice-guided personal assistant, and Smart Stay that conserves battery life by tracking movements when the user is not looking at the screen.
Deliveries of the S3 will begin on March 30th. However, we received tip that customers who pre-order directly from Samsung may be able to pick up the handset half a day early at London’s Westfield Stratford.
