Samsung looks set to celebrate the impending 2012 Olympic Games in London – which it sponsors – with the launch of a Team GB-branded Galaxy Note.
Snaps of a special edition Galaxy Note have emerged showing Sammy's 2012 flagship phone sporting a grungy-looking Union Jack on a glossy back cover along with official logos.
Although not directly on display, a white variant can also be spotted on the box sleeve carrying a Union Jack-themed lion head print.
According to the good folk over at GSMArena, the devices will be sold exclusively in Blighty though O2. However, this is not just a cash-in - the phone has a part to play in the legacy that the games is set to leave.
Samsung will donate £1 for every unit sold to Team GB athletes of the future. So if you’ve been looking to pick one up, now might be a good time.
If you’re not a huge fan of Sammy’s phablet, an Olympics-themed Galaxy Y variant will also be available.
