Samsung’s soon-to-land Galaxy S3 is now available to pre-order on Orange, as networks brace themselves for the impending launch of this year’s hottest Android smartphone.
Orange is offering the Galaxy S3 free on its Panther Extra plan for £36 a month over two years. Although a deposit £49.99 is still payable, this will be reimbursed with a £50 cashback four months into the contract.
In return, takers can expect 600 minutes call time, unlimited texts, 1GB of data and two Swappables.
Customers can register their interest on the Orange website to be notified when the handset is ready to purchase.
The Everything Everywhere network’s other half, T-Mobile, also revealed price plans yesterday.
Hailed as a “smartphone designed for humans”, highlights of the Galaxy S3 include a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, an eight-megapixel camera and Near Field Communications (NFC) technology.
Also on board are the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and 16GB of internal storage. A 32GB edition of the phone will be exclusive to Vodafone for the first month.
The handset is available in two colour options: pebble blue and marble white. Demand is expected to outstrip supply, so be sure to place your pre-order as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
