Word on the street is that Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy S3 will be available to collect a day sooner than its official release date. If you live in London, that is.
The handset, which launches in Blighty exactly two weeks from today, will be available to pick up on May 29th from 6PM at the Samsung store in Westfield Stratford.
It won’t be available to purchase on spot, mind you, just collect if you already pre-ordered in store or online. Essentially, you’ll have a chance to become one of the first people anywhere to get your mitts on the year’s hottest Android phone.
Those of you willing to wait a little longer can snap it up with the rest of the nation on May 30th. However, it’s highly advisable you pre-order as demand is expected to far outstrip supply.
In case you've been living under a rock the last couple of weeks, standout features of the Galaxy S3 include a capacious 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a native 720p HD resolution, a brawny 1.4GHz quad core processor and an eight-megapixel camera that records videos in full HD.
There’ll be two colour variants: pebble blue and marble white, and two storage options: 16 and 32GB. However, the 32GB edition will be exclusive to Vodafone for the first month.
