The Samsung Galaxy S3 is available for pre-order now on O2, ahead of its official street date of May 29th.
The carrier is offering the just-unveiled Android smartphone for free from £46 per month over a 24-month contract. That gets you unlimited calls and texts, plus 1GB of mobile internet use every month.
Samsung’s phone is widely available to pre-order now from several third-party retailers. However, O2 is only the second UK carrier, after Three which is taking pre-orders in stores only, to start offering the S3 directly.
The S3 improves on the 20 million-selling S2 with a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD screen – that’s 22 per cent more capacious that its predecessor – and the addition of a brawny quad-core processor.
An eight megapixel camera, front-facing 1.9 megapixel snapper, voice commands functionality are also present and correct.
