Samsung may have inadvertently confirmed it is working on a sequel to the smartphone-tablet hybrid that is the Galaxy Note, corroborating rumours about the existence of the device from earlier this month.
The phone-maker’s Middle East division seemed to rubber-stamp speculation about Sammy’s plans for a Galaxy Note 2 in a Twitter post in which followers were asked which forthcoming Samsung kit is really buttering their muffin right now.
The tweet, which was from the @SamsungMobileME account and was subsequently deleted after it was clocked by the good, good people at Product Reviews, stated: "Which one of these are you excited about: #GalaxyBeam #GalaxyTab2 #GalaxyNote2 #Poll."
Sadly, Samsung’s loose-lipped Twitter rep, who we’re assuming has since been ordered to fall on his sword, didn’t disclose any details about the device or its availability.
However, if rumours are to believed the Note 2 will be launched before the end of the year and will debut the as yet unseen Jelly Bean iteration of Android and a new version of the S-Pen stylus.
A flexible LED display is also expected to be on board, which at 5.4-inches, pushes the Note 2 even further into tablet territory than its predecessor.
