Samsung Galaxy S3 price cut on Vodafone

Vodafone is offering the Samsung Galaxy S3 for a reduced price for a limited period, as part of its summer smartphone sale.

Under the terms of the promo, Voda is waiving the £29.99 upfront fee that usually applies when would-be buyers sign up for a two-year contract at £36 per month. You’ll also get the first three months half price.

Already well on the way to sales of 10 million, the successor to the S2 features a mighty quad-core Exynos 4 processor and a whopping 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD screen that means tech watchers been pegged it as one of the new breed of so-called 'superphones'.

Sammy’s latest flagship phone also stands out for some smart customisations to the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system that it runs that are aimed at making it easier and more intuitive to interact with smartphones.

Not least of these is the Siri-challenging, some would say Siri-trumping, S-Voice personal assistant app that enables users to conduct web searches and schedule reminders using spoken commands.

Other features take in the SmartStay intelligent sleep mode, an eight-megapixel camera with LED flash and zero shutter delay, a secondary 1.9-megapixel snapper for video calls and a long-life 2,100mAh battery that can be charged wirelessly.

To qualify for the discounted price you’ll need to enter the promo code 3MHPLR at the point of purchase.
