Samsung has officially announced its much-anticipated Galaxy Note 10.1 at a star-studded bash last night in London’s One Mayfair that included a surprise performance from Kylie Minogue.
Presented by Vernon Kay, the event was attended by numerous Team GB athletes such as medal winners Victoria Pendleton, Zara Phillips and Laura Trott. Model/actress Kelly Brook and actor/director Noel Clarke were also present and came on stage to talk about the Galaxy Note 10.1, which goes on sale today.
The real highlight of the show, though, was Kylie Minogue, who performed in a stunning pink dress made exclusively for the party by designer Matthew Williamson, while standing inside special stage prop made of, yup, Galaxy Note 10.1’s.
Other entertainers included illusionist Dymano, ex-Busted frontman Charlie Simpson and Eliza Doolittle.
The Galaxy Note 10.1, which features 1.4GHz quad-core processor, a five-megapixel camera (plus a 1.9mp front-facer) and a 10.1-inch screen, is available to pick up today from numerous online and high street vendors. Prices start from £399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi model.
