Rumours that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will feature a larger screen gathered pace today, after shots purportedly showing the bezel for the surfaced online.
Brought to the world by French site Nowhwereelse.com, which owes its leak to someone called Wiliam (the first tech-site news source ever to willingly offer their name?), the space for the handset’s screen comes in at a whopping 5.5-inches.
That tallies with long-standing rumblings on the Samsung rumour mill that the phone-maker will up the Note’s screen real estate from 5.3-inches for its successor.
Alas, Wiliam didn’t give our French friends anything to go on as far as specs go. But rumours suggest the Note 2 will also feature a design with more than an echo or two of the Galaxy S3 and will pack a quad-core processor for graphical bench-pressing.
Speculation also indicates it will run Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) out of the box and could pack a revamped S-Pen stylus that doubles as a mini microphones for text-to-voice functionality.
