Three has become the first UK network to range the Samsung Galaxy Pocket, the 'coming soon' page of the carrier’s site reveals.
The network will be offering the phone, which blends Sammy’s take on the Android OS with budget-blower specs, for sale from September.
A price hasn’t yet been confirmed, but we think it’ll be broadly in line with the Ace 2, which means you’re probably looking at an outlay of about £15 per month to pick it up on a contract sans upfront fee. Or a one-off charge in the region of about £100, if you fancy it on pay as you go.
Features on board include the somewhat superannuated Gingerbread version of Google’s operating system, or Android 2.3 if you insist on being formal, and a 2.3 megapixel camera.
The handset’s spec sheet also takes in a 2.8-inch touchscreen and 3GB of internal memory.
