Samsung Galaxy S3 owners can look forward to a serving of sweet, sweet Jelly Bean in the autumn, reports suggest, bringing some smart new features to Sammy’s nature-inspired handset.
According to inside sources (yep, them again), Samsung will roll out Android 4.0 to unlocked editions of its flagship phone bought sans contract around late September or early October.
Of course, if you bought your phone on a monthly contract (that's most of you, no?), you’ll face a longer wait while your carrier carries out tests to ensure compatibility with its proprietary services.
Features Jelly Bean adds to the S3 take in the Siri-challenging Google Now app, which blends advanced voice commands with a new card-based system that uses GPS and users’ habits to intelligently serve up reminders and search results.
Also new with the latest iteration of Google’s OS is a revamped notifications bar, an improved keyboard and more scope to customise homescreens.
