Samsung has released a teaser trailer for its next Galaxy device, as we approach ever closer to its ‘Mobile Unpacked’ event later this month.
The 38-second clip, backed by a soaring orchestral soundtrack, starts with the message: ‘When magical moments come alive’, followed by a series of abstract imagery, before switching to a close-up of a stylus being pulled out of what could be the much-rumoured Galaxy Note 2.
We then see German filmmaker Wim Wenders (director of ‘Wings of Desire') walking down a street, narrating: ‘All the things you can do in the blink of an eye with such a small and light thing. Anybody can do it’.
Small and light could be in reference to a redesigned stylus, which is shown some more very briefly in intimate detail. A frame-by-frame inspection reveals video controls, which, we are guessing, suggests some sort of video-editing suite.
The ad ends by confirming the date for Samsung’s Unpacked event, due to take place in Berlin just before this year’s IFA exhibition.
‘On August 29th, In Berlin your magical moments will come alive.’
Intrigued? We’ll be reporting developments as they happen. So keep ‘em peeled.
