The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini will officially go on sale in the UK next month, a Carphone Warehouse pre-registration webpage discloses.
The page, which isn’t officially live on Carphone's site but which we found thanks to some judicious ferretting around, reveals that the S3 Jnr is “expected November 2012” and offers would-be buyers the chance to sign up for availability updates.
Alas, Carphone’s contract prices are nowhere to be seen right now. But judging by the SIM-free price of just shy of £300 announced by rival retailer Clove last night, we fancy you’re probably looking at a monthly outlay of between £25-30 if you want to pick up the S3’s baby bro’ for free.
What does that get you? Well, Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) out of the box, for one thing, complete with genuinely innovative OS tweaks such as the S-Voice commands app and a very welcome smart sleep mode.
Elsewhere, the S3 Mini features a four-inch Super AMOLED HD screen (that’s the best part of an inch smaller than the original S3), a dual-core processor and a five megapixel camera.
