LG has seemingly teased would-be owners of its forthcoming Optimus G2 phablet with a predictably enigmatic promo video, as anticipation builds that it will land at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week.
Although it’s hard to discern much from the video, it does look as though LG's kit will sport a super-thin bezel, seemingly confirming expectations that the device will sport a monster-sized screen.
That tallies with earlier reports that LG’s product pipeline includes a handset-tablet hybrid with a 5.5-inch, 1080p display. A quad-core GPU is also expected to be on board, bringing the G2 in line with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
A release date for the G2 is anyone’s guess right now. But it is thought that it will land in May.
