The HTC M7 has been leaked yet again, this time through high-street retailer Carphone Warehouse, as we await the handset’s long overdue announcement later this month.
A photo of the retailer’s internal system, obtained by Pocket-Lint, shows listings for the M7 in two colour variants, black and silver, as well as accessories, a hard case and a screen protector.
Last week, a source familiar with the Taiwanese phone-maker’s plans revealed that the handset will finally go on sale on March 8th and will land in the UK and Europe first.
HTC is holding a press conference in London on February 19th, where the M7 is hotly tipped to be officially unveiled. Although months of leaks and conjecture have meant we already know most of the features it’s expected to bring.
These include a 4.7-inch full HD Super LCD3 display and a 1.7GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel main shooter, which HTC will purportedly re-brand with a new ‘ultrapixels’ designation for producing sharper and cleaner images than your average camera phone.
Elsewhere, the M7 is rumoured to boast 4G LTE support, 32GB of on board storage, a two-megapixel front-facing camera. On the software side, it’s a dead cert to bring Android Jelly Bean with the newest Sense 5 UI slathered on top.
Alas, the image doesn’t show any pricing, but expect this and concrete release-date details to be revealed in the weeks to come. Keep ‘em peeled.
