Samsung’s Project J reportedly comprises at least three devices, not just one as we initially thought, newly leaked intel suggests.
First revealed in December, Project J was widely assumed to be the internal name for Samsung’s eagerly awaited next-generation smartphone, the Galaxy S4 – more recently known as Atlius.
Well, turns out, that’s not all. At least if a list of accessories supposedly intended for the S4 and two hitherto unknown devices: the Project J Mini – codenamed ‘Serrano’ and Project J Active – aka ‘Fortius’ – are anything to go by.
The former is most likely to be the Galaxy S4 Mini – with accessories that include a clear cover, flip cover and protective cover. The latter could be either a handset or some other device intended for sports or physical activities, as its purported accessories include an armband, a bike mount and a pouch.
Of course, the highlight of the lot still remains the Galaxy S4. Among its accessories range are mooted to be a wireless charging kit, an HDTV adapter and a headset.
As for the handset itself, specs it’s hotly tipped to feature include a 4.99-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, an octa-core Exynos process and a 13-megapixel primary shooter.
Samsung is expected to officially lift the lid on the S4 between March 15th and 22nd, with a release date potentially slated for mid-April.
Whether the Serrano and the Fortius will also be unveiled alongside the S4 is something only time will tell. So keep your hats on.
