BlackBerry Q10 coming to Vodafone UK

Vodafone will be one of the first UK networks to offer the BlackBerry Q10, the network has ostensibly confirmed.

The good folk at Geeky Gadgets claim to have received an email from the Big V that it will begin selling the Q10 in the ‘coming weeks’, but stopped short of providing a firm release date or any information as to pricing.

BlackBerry Q10 official front and back

The Q10 has already gone on pre-order through Carphone Warehouse, which is ranging the handset on pay monthly tariffs from several major networks, including Vodafone.

Customers looking to snap it up free will have to fork out at least £36 a month on Orange and T-Mobile on a two-year term. Or they can pay £37 and £38 a month on O2 and Vodafone respectively.

The Q10 is also available free on EE’s 4G price plan at £41 a month, which entitles takers to unlimited minutes and texts, plus 1GB of data.

Powered by the all-new BlackBerry 10 operating system, the Q10’s USP is a physical QWERTY keyboard that’s become a hallmark of the BlackBerry range.

Standout specs include a 3.1-inch touchscreen display with a 330 ppi density, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM and an eight-megapixel primary shooter.

Elsewhere, it’s home to 16GB of on board storage (expandable via microSD) and of course, 4G LTE support for super-fast browsing and downloading.
