Nokia could showcase a phablet addition to its Lumia range next month, in what would be the first-ever jumbo handset running Windows Phone.
The Finnish phone-maker has sent out invitations to a press call on March 14th, promising to reveal how the ‘Nokia Lumia story continues’.
Although there’s no mention of a phablet, for some time the smart money has been on Nokia introducing a smartphone-tablet hybrid this year, amid surging demand for kits with more expansive dimensions.
Earlier reports suggest that the handset will pack either a five-inch or six-inch display and will boast a spec sheet that outshines Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
The Lumia-branded phablet is also tipped to feature the market-leading 41 megapixel PureView camera that debuted on Nokia’s creaking Symbian OS last year.
