Sony looks set to reveal its first-ever phablet at a June 25th event. That’s if a press invite to a special event in Germany is to be believed.
The mailout reads ‘Lust Auf Mehr’, which translates as ‘You Want More’? That’s led some mobile watchers to claim that the ‘More’ could refer to screen size.
Sony’s phablet has been kicking around the rumour mill for months. Codenamed Togari, although it’s likely to be slapped with an Xperia name tag, it’s said to rock a massive 6.4-inch screen.
That’s even bigger than the largest Samsung Galaxy Mega, which clocks in at 6.3-inches.
The phone apparently packs HD smarts, a 13-megapixel snapper and 2GB of RAM.
Sony’s Xperia Z has been a critical and commercial smash, but has been overshadowed of late by Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and HTC’s superb One.
The Big S will be hoping that its new, capacious handset can put it back in the limelight.
