The Nokia Lumia 1020 hasn’t been priced-up officially on contracts here in the UK yet. But now the chaps at unlocked-mobiles.com have slapped the device with a SIM-free price tag.
The 41-megapixel-packing phone will set you back £549.98 without a SIM card. You can pre-order it now, with the retailer expecting to ship units from next month.
Of course, that’s not exactly cheap. But compare it to the Samsung Galaxy S4’s £649 RRP and the entry-level iPhone 5 coming in at £529, and it’s not such a bad deal.
The Lumia 1020 has arguably the best camera ever loaded up into a phone. As well as that whacking great sensor, it has impressive zoom skills and functions well in low light conditions.
Sales of the device are said to be going slowly in the United States, where it launched just a few weeks ago.
Nokia will doubtless be hoping to shift more devices in Europe, with the handset likely to be free on contract.
