The final version of iOS 7 will be hitting new and existing Apple devices on September 18th, two days before the release of the newly revealed iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c.
Apple says the new update will work on 700 million iOS devices. The software includes a new Notification Center, available from the lock screen, the much-fabled Control Center, which finally allows iOS users to tweak features like Wi-Fi without going into settings and a whole new flattened design.
The browser has also been updated, with far better tab options that don’t limit users to just eight pages, while iTunes Radio, Apple’s new streaming service, will also be sitting pretty.
Cupertino has also revealed a new Find My iPhone Activation Lock, which will require users to tap in their Apple ID before erasing or reactivating a device remotely.
