The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is available now on Virgin Media, with pricing broadly in line with rival carriers.
Virgin Media is offering the handset from £39 per month over two years on the Starter tariff, plus £99 upfront. That gets you 200 anytime, any-network minutes and 500MB of 3G data per month and unlimited texts.
Choose the top-end VIP tariff and you’ll pay £49 per month, also over two years and with a one-off charge of £99 to cover the cost of the handset. As you might expect, that sort of outlay nabs you unlimited texts, data and calls per month.
Virgin Media broadband customers who sign up for the handset get the same allowances but pay £5 less per month.
The third in the Note range of phablets features a slightly larger 5.7-inch AMOLED HD screen, alongside a 2.3 quad-core processor and a souped-up version of the series’ trademark S-Pen stylus.
Samsung is also reported to be planning a Note 3 variant with a curved screen in months to come, which will likely be marketed as a Galaxy Activ-style toughphone.
