Google’s Nexus 5 will finally get its official launch on November 1st. That’s according to the latest gossip about the new flagship Android device, which has emerged from the ever-reliable @evleaks.
Posting a snap of the oft-rumoured white version of the Nexus 5 to Twitter, the renowned mobile insiders added a brief caption. “In white. 11/1.”
That piece of tittle tattle, which comes after a string of alternative rumoured release dates, has sent Google watchers into a spin. That's not surprising given that @evleaks track record with leaking information is nigh-on impeccable.
The Nexus 5 is due to pack a larger 4.95-inch display compared to last year’s Nexus 4. It’ll also rock a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and use the latest version of Android, KitKat. The latter is also due to launch at the same time, rolling out to older Nexus devices soon after.
