Samsung is priming yet another Galaxy device, with new leaks suggesting the Korean giant will unleash its new Galaxy Gear Lite at the start of 2014.
The rumour comes just days after Sammy revealed the Galaxy Grand 2, a pared-down version of its top-end smartphones.
While that device packs an eight-megapixel camera and Android Jelly Bean 4.3, Sammy’s forthcoming version will use a five-megapixel snapper and Android 4.2, while keeping other key specs, such as the 5-inch display and dual SIM functionality.
Word is that Samsung will announce the device at the start of February, before showing it off to key industry bods at Mobile World Congress a few weeks later.
The device is the latest proof that Samsung is looking to outdo its major smartphone rivals by simply flooding the market with new devices, covering every niche and price point to gain the upper hand.
The Galaxy Grand Lite could appear alongside the much-vaunted Galaxy S5. The forthcoming flagship device has been the subject of a string of rumours, claiming it’ll be up for grabs not long into the New Year.
