Samsung is hard at work on yet another new smartphone. Korean news sources are reporting that the tech titan is lining up a Galaxy Note 3 Lite for release in the New Year, with grand plans for the pared-down version of its flagship phone.
Word is that Sammy is hoping the device will make up 30% of all Note 3 sales. The phone is believed to use the same 5.68-inch sized display, although there’s no news on whether the company will keep the same hi-res display that has made the full-on Note 3 such a success.
Neither is there any gossip about what internal specs we can expect. However, with this being a so-called ‘Lite’ model, expect things such as the processor, camera and storage to be where the cuts fall.
Launching a Galaxy Note 3 Lite is perhaps no surprise. Samsung’s catch-all approach to its Galaxy range has seen it unleash mini editions of most of its handsets, as it looks to diversify and offer phones for what seems like every conceivable sector of the market.
