Huawei has made all the early running at Mobile World Congress (MWC), lifting the lid on three new devices that it hopes will finally allow it to transcend the brand's long-established popularity in its domestic Chinese market and finally start shifting some serious units in The West.
WIth 4G LTE support, a 4.5-inch qHD screen, 1.2GHz quad-core processor and eight-megapixel camera, the handset-maker's Ascend G6 packs a punch in the spec stakes, that's for sure.
But is it more or less than the sum of its parts?
