HTC has done a poor job of keeping a lid on rumours surrounding its All New One, due to launch officially on March 25th. And now a new leak appears to have explained how the device’s dual camera works.
In a print ad snagged by GSM Arena HTC describes how the phone’s ‘Duo Camera’ works. The second lens, nestled at the very top of the device, is designed to give users the chance to change focus after they’ve taken pictures.
On top of that, it’ll also come with special 3D effects, which can also be added once images have been reeled off.
Changing focal points appears to be the next front in the camera phone battle. Nokia has a dedicated Refocus app, while rival models from Samsung and Sony also use the same tech.
There’s no word yet on the Duo Camera’s resolution and how HTC plans to develop its ultra pixel technology.
