The iPhone 5C 8GB’s price has taken a tumble on Vodafone, in the surest sign that the countdown to the next-generation iPhone is very much on.
Amid the appearance of fresh iPhone 6 leaks almost daily, Vodafone has cut the upfront fee from £79 to £9 when customers sign up for the handset on a two-year contract at £29 per month.
The carrier is also offering the first three months half price if you input the code 3MHPLR at the point of purchase. So, coupled with the upfront charge reduction, we make that a saving of £115.
Monthly allowances are 600 minutes, 500MB of 3G data and unlimited texts.
Other than a storage reduction, the 8GB edition of the iPhone 5C, which ditches Apple’s phones’ traditional metal and glass construction for a super lightweight polycarbonate build, is identical to the 16GB and 32GB models.
That means its spec sheet takes in a four-inch Retina Display, beefy A6 processor, a long-life battery and an improved eight-megapixel camera with1080 HD video recording.
