A new series of images showing the back shell of the forthcoming iPhone 6 have tipped up online, weeks after a similar snap surfaced.
The new picture set shows a gold case which looks very similar to a previous leak. The back plate has the same cut-outs seen on other unofficial snaps, including a new power button on the side of the device, longer volume keys and a mute switch as seen on all previous iPhones.
There’s a cut-out Apple logo too, which has led some to suggest this will glow when notifications arrive.
This lighting feature has become standard on Android and is something iPhone users have demanded for some time.
The iPhone 6 is due to get the official nod in September. The device is believed to come in two variants. One will be a 4.7–inch model and the other is a 5.5–inch edition.
Both will use iOS 8, which was revealed at WWDC last week.
