It’s just 36 hours until Apple finally pulls the wrapper off of its new iPhone 6. And with searing inevitability, what's purported to be a working model of the 4.7–inch version of the device has tipped on a Chinese tech site.
The pictures of the phone fit perfectly with previous leaks, showcasing a rounded aluminium design, a larger screen with more space for icons and rejigged, larger buttons that are intended to make the handset easy to use one–handed.
There are some subtle differences which have also shown up too, though.
Passbook now appears to have a credit card logo as part of its icon, fitting in with gossip about Apple’s plans for NFC and mobile payments on the iPhone 6.
Icon sizes are also said to point to a 1334 x 750 screen resolution.
The iPhone 6 is due to come in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch variants. Apple will launch both iterations, and hopefully its new iWatch, at a special event on September 9th, starting 6pm UK time.
