Samsung has a new Galaxy A Series device in the works, according to leaked filings from a Chinese telecommunications regulator.
The Galaxy A7 is the third handset in the range, following the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5, which launched earlier this year. The handset measures just 6.3mm , making it the thinnest phone Samsung has ever produced.
It appears to have the same metal unibody design as its stablemates, with a capacious 5.5–inch 1080p display, an octa–core Snapdragon processor, with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage space.
The cameras are set clock in at 12 megapixels round the back and five megapixels up front respectively.
There is no word on when the Galaxy A7 will get an official launch, but with CES just around the corner and Mobile World Congress looming on the horizon, it may well get the nod in early 2015. Details on a UK release are as yet unclear.
