Google Chrome Remote Desktop, the app that lets you access your PC remotely and tinker with folders and files on your phone, has finally been released for iOS.
iPhone and iPad users can download the Google–made tool now. First off, you’ll need to download Chrome Remote Desktop for your Mac or PC via Google’s Chrome App Store.
You’ll then need to enable remote connections within the PC app before snagging the mobile version.
Google's app is particularly handy if you’ve got local files you can’t see via your phone or if you want a colleague or friend to snare pics or information from your PC.
The latter can be done by a dedicated share tool, which generates an access code every time you want to give a pal access.
The app has been available on Google’s own Android platform since last April. This new update finally brings Apple’s products into line with Google’s OS.
