Would-be iPad Pro owners can look forward to a superior audio experience, it appears, after a product render surfaced online ahead of the mega-tablet’s release later this year.
An image sourced by Nowhereelse.fr shows a 3D mock-up of the tablet that shows speaker grilles at the iPad Pro’s top right and close to the lock button.
This has been interpreted as a sign that the much anticipated slate will deliver stereo sound whether used in landscape or portrait mode.
This tallies with forecasts that Apple will market the iPad Pro’s partly on its entertainment-on-the-go-credentials, most obviously in the form of its large display.
The screen is purportedly set to come in at between 12.2 inches and 12.9 inches. That compares with the 9.7-inch screen that graces the iPad Air and the 7.9-inch number you’ll find on the iPad Mini.
The larger tablet, which Apple hopes can turn around its sluggish iPad sales, is expected to feature a beefier A9 processor and is set for release in the spring.
