Three has added Spain and New Zealand to the list of countries that support its pretty excellent Feel At Home roaming service. The new additions bring the total number of destinations where you can use your phone at no extra cost to 18.
The move means that Three customers can use their data, call and text allowances in those countries without being charged for the privilege.
There’s no need to call and tell the network that you’re on your way, as the service works automatically.
Currently, visitors to France, Ireland, the USA and Australia are able to escape the fear of a bank balance-battering bill when they get back from holiday.
Three says Spain and New Zealand will be added to the roll call from April 1st.
The move puts more pressure on rival networks to also abolish fees, especially as the EU is looking to kill off data roaming charges for good later this year.
