Samsung’s Galaxy S6 isn’t due to appear before the cameras until Sunday, March 1st. But that hasn’t stopped one fan from posting shots of what appears to be Sammy’s new flagship on the XDA developers forum.
The images show a new, ultra-slim phone with a far more premium look than previous Galaxy S phones.
There’s the metal frame everyone’s been talking about, alongside the glass rear, which looks a darn sight more classy than the plasticky efforts of yesteryear.
Interestingly, it seems Samsung has binned off the microSD slot and removable battery that won its older top–end phones so many fans.
The nature of the leak suggests we could well be looking at an early model, rather than a final version without full branding. The phone is said to have been snared from US network AT&T.
Samsung is expected to reveal its new Galaxy S6, with possibly a curved screen variant, this weekend, with its event kicking off at 5.30pm UK time. You can sign up for availability updates here.
