Samsung has once again bigged up the camera skills of its forthcoming Galaxy S6. Ahead of the phone's launch on March 1st, the Samsung Mobile Twitter account posted a video teaser that shows a square camera housing for the phone.
This squares – excuse the pun – with previous renders. It's also in keeping with previous Samsung Galaxy S devices.
The video doesn't reveal much else about the phone. A voiceover says: "Great vision. A unique view. That's what inspires me." Which could suggest new camera skills and a brand new display. Or it could be a load of marketing codswallop.
Last week, Samsung made a big deal of the S6's photographic ability. In a post on the official Samsung blog, an exec wrote the snapper "will be intelligent and do all the thinking for the users, allowing them to take amazing pictures under any conditions, without having to worry about anything more than just pressing a button."
It also stressed the importance of the front-facer. Expect plenty of selfie talk come March 1st.
The handset is expected to go on sale on March 22nd. Samsung employees have been banned from taking holiday from then until March 30th, which suggests a release date will be around then.
That would be a quick turnaround between launch and the phone hitting the shelves. Though not as quick as the HTC One (M8), which went on sale the very day it was announced last year.
