Thinking of snapping up a top–end Apple Watch Edition? Well, the good news is that it won’t just be a rose gold watch you’ll be getting for your £13,000 outlay.
Today it was revealed that Apple is planning on pulling out all the stops for those who buy the priciest version of its smartwatch.
That means customers will immediately get to skip queues to try out the device and will get to do so in a private room rather than around a table with other users who are buying the cheaper Sport and Stainless Steel options.
The luxury treatment doesn’t stop there. Those who choose to buy an Apple Watch Edition can spend up to an hour with a dedicated member of Apple staff and can choose to have their watch set up in store or via a video call at home.
Seeing as the Apple Watch Edition will only be available in select stores, a new courier-to-store programme will allow customers to get a watch sent to their local outlet for them to try.
What’s more, they’ll get access to a 24-hour support line for two years.
This kind of service is usually the reserve of luxury brands when they sell their priciest kit.
Seeing as Apple is going after the likes of TAG Heuer, it’s no surprise it’s planning on bending over backwards for its most valued customers.
The Apple Watch is being wheeled out in Apple stores from April 10th, before going on sale on April 24th.
